I was educated at the University of Reading, Berkshire, England. After college I took the TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) in Brighton, East Sussex, England. I was fortunate to teach English to a wide range of students from all over the world, at language schools in Great Britain.
I worked with students who wanted to learn conversational English. I used newspapers, magazines, BBC radio and books on tape to facilitate understanding of the language. I used specifically designed three dimensional objects to help the students understand language and form sentences; for example, a triangle was a verb, a square was a noun etc. this really helped the students understand sentence structure - they had to place the object on the picture they thought it would match until they had completed their sentence.
