Mark Wood is the president of Wood Enrichment Services, LLC, one of the largest tutoring centers in central Pennsylvania. Together with several other teachers, he teaches a variety of enrichment topics. He is a retired elementary school gifted teacher with K-12 Administration experience and taught 30 years in the public school. Mark was a PIAA baseball umpire for 25 years and a
church board secretary for five years. He is a published author and state convention speaker on gifted education. He is a current gifted advocate who was a PDE gifted education representative.
He was a PA state certified tutor in Math and Reading, and is a
certified national chess coach and tournament director for USCF.

Wood Services has tutoring center in Manheim Township, Lancaster County PA. Wood Services hosts USCF rated chess tournaments and clubs in Lancaster, Reading, Hershey, New Holland and Annville. We are the largest Scholastic chess organization in Central PA.
