I have completed 5 years of Sign Language classes. I am a Deaf Education major. I was a babysitter growing up for my brothers and friends. I completed high school with 24 college credits, I was accepted into Flagler College and have been attending for 3 years. I received enough scholarships to completely cover my tuition. I have coached gymnastics to kids for 6 years. I have worked with deaf kids, autistic, and children with Down's syndrome.

As a former corporate manager and full-time mother, I received a BA in Theatre Arts and a MSW in Clinical Social Work in hopes of working with children and young adults in low socio-economic environments. My teaching style is predicated on the belief that children truly want to learn. I like to introduce the goal or goals for today. Ask a few questions regarding ysterdays assignment and see if the class will bridg the two by itself. I believe that a class os students wiling to learn need only slight direction each day. I always have a full lesson plan in tow, but i find the class rarely needs me to rely on it. The students' hunger for knowledge always seems to be motivation enough to keep them moving forward through the blackboard jungle.
