I love working with children. I believe that reading is the basic building block to education. When students struggle with reading, it spreads through all subjects. Students who struggle with reading usually need a non-family member to help guide them, and they need to feel success. Without a taste of success, a student will most likely resent reading in any way. I have taught high school English for seven years.
