I hold a variety of Montana teaching edorsements: K-12 Library, 5-12 English, Broadfield Social Sciences (5-12), K-12 Physical Education and Health, and History (5-12). Over the last seventeen years I have primarily taught Language Arts and history classes at the junior high and high school level in a variety of Montana school districts and in one in Nevada. I have also been an assistant and head junior high and high school football, wrestling, and track and field coach. I recently graduated college with a BA in Human Biology, and I am currently in the transition between undergraduate school and medical school. I love working with children. I believe that reading is the basic building block to education. When students struggle with reading, it spreads through all subjects. Students who struggle with reading usually need a non-family member to help guide them, and they need to feel success.
