English/Language Arts Tutor

While attending Texas Tech University I was employed by the Marsha Sharp Center for Student Athletes as a tutor and worked with athletes in the following subject areas: English, Spanish, Art History, History, and Political Science. I was also a summer school teacher for a non-profit organization called Shalom Readers and led a classroom of children between 6 and 8 years of age. I was responsible for planning Christian based games and learning activities for them as well as providing them with coursework that covered all basic subject areas. My comments on tutoring Writing : Qualified in this subject by WyzAnt. Also, I was the Editor-in- Chief of the monthly bulletin published by the Associated Public Safety Communications Officers which was headquartered in New Smyrna Beach, FL. I also acted in this capacity for a cultural magazine called "Flair" for a two year period while residing in Vienna, Austria.
