I am very patient working with kids including coaching (soccer for the last 3 years) and tutoring activities. The math I have listed comes easy to me and I have been able to teach others and explain it in such a way to improve their understanding and skills. Grammar and similar English concepts are also a strength of mine, and I was an Editor for a Journal at my law school. First, and foremost, I believe that effective learning is both fun and relevant. I have always been able to make a game of it and to make it both interesting and challenging to others. My goal is never to teach them a rote solution, but to challenge them to think about the concepts and have then tell me the answers. This builds their confidence and solidifies their learning experience.
