Experience Summary
As a graduate of two colleges and universities, I am driven to achieve a high level of excellence in education. I have earned two college degrees, a BA in Psychology and a MEd in Education in cross-cultural teaching, which has enabled me to gain a diverse understanding of students from different cultures and those who have diverse learning styles. I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and laboratory reports, along with essays in many various areas of study, in addition to self publishing several articles on health and fitness. During the last four years I have tutored students in English, psychology, history, mathematics, and sciences.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and enjoy working with many different types of students. I believe children have different learning styles, often unique to them. In today's multicultural world, I believe it's important to take the child's learning style and culture into account to help the child find academic success. I am experienced, patient, easy going, and considerate. My goal is to provide the best teaching/tutoring that I can to ensure each student's success.
