I am a musician and teacher at heart and within the past two years I have found a way to combine those two passions into the most rewarding job I've ever had. Every child can learn but since everyone is different, a different approach is needed to ensure the information and abstract concepts are fully understood. Auditory learners like myself would learn best from an entertaining lecture followed by auditory questions designed for the learner to discover for him or herself what it is they were looking for with myself as a guide. Visual learners would learn best by a movie or re-enactment, and some reading. Kinesthetic learners would need a hands on experience to get a better understanding. In all cases students will realize that they themselves can figure out for themselves the 'hows' and 'whys' of history and show me by answering some questions and re-teaching it to me.
