I believe that questions are more powerful teaching tools than simply delivering answers. I do not wish to teach my students WHAT to think; my goal is to help students learn HOW to think, and to develop a pssion for learning which extends well beyond their formal schooling.
Most of my career has involved some level of teachng or training. Over the past several years I have helped students achieve their potential in a wide variety of educational settings. A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught special education for 5 years. I have worked with children in preschool through 6th grade with a variety of needs. I have experience teaching children how to read. I also have my masters in Literacy. I am a very hard worker and enjoy working with children. I have two bachelor degrees. One in Elementary/Special education and another in Sociology. I have a masters degree in Literacy. I have worked for tutoring agencies before with children after school. I have tutored children in math, reading, social studies, and writing.
I enjoy teaching and working with a variety of children, I believe that children learn in a variety of ways and teachers need to use many strategies when working with children.
