My ADHD Coaching experience is through the UNH training program. The classes prepared me to provide a strengths based, step by step approach to supporting students. Teaching is a facilitating process. I believe it is my job to aide the student in developing a more solid understanding of the coursework in front of them. This may involve explaining the same concept to the child in a variety of ways to help them understand. The child may also just require a patient instructor who is willing to keep practicing until they have reached the mastery stage of learning.
