A Little Bit About Me...

Although, I have never been in charge of my own class room I consider my teaching style energetic. I love working with students of all ages and find that teaching methods and styles tend to adapt to those individual students. I think it is important to be encouraging and patient with all students. I have a bachelor's degree in English. After college, I worked in the communication area of a large company and wrote news releases and promotional newsletters. I also very briefly worked as a proofreader for the University Press. For one year, I volunteered as a tutor for PLUS (Project Literacy U.S.). It was very satisfying to help empower my students.
