I have an associate degree in Digital Media and a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design. I have recently graduated from my BS program from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a 3.44 GPA. I am a very energetic and interactive teacher, moving around the classroom, challenging students with questions, providing many examples and anecdotes to illustrate teaching points. I always try to teach inductively--leading the student to discover the answer on their own, and I encourage them to express their own original thoughts. I use a multisensory approach to teaching, using audio-visual resources and the internet whenever possible. I enjoy working one on one with students because it is allows me to give more in depth and detailed instruction to the student based on his or her learning style. A Little Bit About Me...

Although, I have never been in charge of my own class room I consider my teaching style energetic. I love working with students of all ages and find that teaching methods and styles tend to adapt to those individual students. I think it is important to be encouraging and patient with all students.
