My comments on tutoring GED : I have a PhD in Educational Leadership, a master's in English, and have taught at a four-year university and a two-year college. I have also worked with HS students in college preparation skills.

I believe in working with students, not talking at them. I ask lots of questions and make sure students retain the information and can apply it to the real world.
I have experience teaching at a two-year university and a two-year college, in composition, communications, and public speaking. I have been tutoring in various math, elementary, and Spanish areas for 13 years. I have tutored students from elementary school age to adults. I have also tutored students all over the US and in other coutries. I have listed all the areas that I am comfortable tutoring. I am willing to teach in a library, in the student's home, on-line, or in another area that is agreed upon by both myself and the parent. I am open to group sessions, this would require me booking a meeting room in a library, or another location. On-line is preferred if possible to reduce travel time(s), this would also allow me to assist more students in a more efficient way.

My comments on tutoring GED : This is my specialty. I have MANY Books, websites, printouts, etc. to help. I have worked with a dozen students from high school to 60 years old. I can give references. I can help those who have taken the many prep classes offered at high schools and learning centers, yet still failed to pass the test.
