CREATIVE WRITER/ TEACHER

I have extensive experience both locally and abroad teaching ESL. I taught in Korea for two years before working at a local ESL school. Within these two positions, I taught ages 5 through adult. Seven years ago, I became a certified teacher in Georgia and have been teaching ESOL in public schools since then. I have published about a dozen poems and one short story. My comments on tutoring Grammar : Grammar is the foundation of a language. My teaching method is grounded in grammar. Finding effective ways to break down in simple terms and explain complex grammar rules to students is my forte.

I am a native speaker of Russian. I was born and grew up in the former Soviet Union and I moved to the US in 2008. I have a bachelors degree in German and a masters degree in English with concentration in TESOL (Teaching English To Speakers of Other Langauages) from IUPUI (Indianapolis, Indiana). I have 5 nephews and a daughter of my own shop I'm great with children. I was an honors grad and I also became a certified nursing assistant before I even graduated high school.
