My teaching style involves getting to know the student as a person first and going from there. Learning how he/she learns something new and what he/she knows and doesn't know quite yet. Every child is different in the way that he/she learns and a person how to figure that out first for a child to be successful. I tutored elementary students while in high school. I am now an Education major at Midwestern State University and I will graduate in May of 2010. At my last job I helped tutor students and get them ready for test and quizzes etc. I enjoy working with kids I can't think of anything better to do with my time.

My teaching style is very much one of observation and tailoring lessons to fit the student best. I typically use one series of method books, but sometimes choose other repertoire outside of the curriculum in order to best teach the student in the area that they need. I have had students with Asperger's syndrome (a form of autism) and dyslexia.I have also taught all age groups, ranging from 4 years to 65 years. Currently, I have been teaching Emergency Medicine to help Reynolds Army Community Hospital maintain 100% proficiency in job qualifications and standards.
