I have mentored and trained part time workers ranging in age from teens to seniors over the course of my career. My goal when mentoring and training individuals or groups, is to recognize and use weaknesses and strengths to make them as successful as they wish to be in work and in life. Since graduating from the University of Albuquerque, I have worked in the New Mexico Governor's Office and been a guide for a Santa Fe outdoor museum. I also worked at the History Library, which is part of the Museum of New Mexico's Palace of the Governors Museum. In 1993, I was trained in English as a Second Language by Literacy Volunteers of America. I taught English in Japan in 1995.
