Experience Summary
I have a BA in English and a dual MA in English Literature and Teaching of Writing from the University of Colorado at Denver. I have over four years of experience teaching and tutoring English to secondary and post-secondary students. I enjoy instructing and developing the reading, writing, and speaking skills of both native and non-native English speakers.
Teaching Style
I believe that all students can learn and excel in their studies by gaining confidence through building their skills with my guidance. I am committed to growing my students in all levels of knowledge and skill in language arts: literature, composition, grammar, etc. I enjoy creating lesson plans that both challenge and develop the thinking skills of my students. I have genuine concern for students and develop good rapport with them through my teaching style. I am well organized and I have a dedicated work ethic. My goal is to inspire my students to have a love of language that will last for a lifetime.
