I believe a solid foundation is the key th success.

I began working with pre-k age group as a lead teacher for the four year olds room. After leaving that placement I started working with high school aged students as a substitute. Working with these young adults reinforced my belief that if a student does not have the basic skills learned early in their education, it is very difficult to go back and relearn them. I have worked with all age groups over the last seven years. I enjoy the elementary age level the most because I believe that a solid foundation is the key to successful learning.

I became a teacher at first out of economic necessity and then realized I was actually very good at it. I was hired the day before classes started and stayed at the school for 24 years.
