I have been working with students in a reading program at a Title I school for 2 years; working with second language students teaching them the English language. I have taught Math and Science for 4th and 5 grade using the Foss system. The Science program was a hands on experiments, writing and keeping a science notebook. Evaluations were given at the end of each lesson segment involving the Foss Systems. Taught 3rd grade all subject for 5 years teaching all subjects. Helping others is something that I have always enjoyed doing. I love reading and think that reading is the main key in successful learning. One of my ways to tech your child to read is reading outlaid (something that helped me when I had hard time in this area) and talking about what you just have read.
