A Little Bit About Me...

While earning my bachelor's degree, I worked in several tutoring programs assisting students with reading comprehension and writing composition skills. I taught grammar to small groups, read one-on-one with third graders and assisted junior high school students with their homework assignments. Though my degree is in fine art, I began my undergraduate career as an English major. In high school I took both AP English exams and I went on an honors trip to England to study British literature. These were the main classes I taught, but I also did Spanish 1, ecology, and food science/nutrition. I also tutored some high school students in all subjects but mostly math and science.
I love helping people. I believe that no one is stupid just some people are better in some areas than other people.
