A Little Bit About Me...

I love children and I am a patient and caring teacher. My mother is an educational diagnostician and an expert on learning disabilities and different learning styles. As a result I believe I have special insight into the way children learn and I can adapt my teaching style to fit the individual needs of each child I tutor.
In high school I took AP calculus classes, earning college credit and fulfilling the math requirement for my undergraduate degree. I tutored my peers in math while earning my BBA in finance, and taking elective classes in accounting and economics. A Little Bit About Me...

Simply put my teaching style has always been to make the student comfortable with statistics. I find many students are petrified of the thought of having to understand what all those Greek symbols mean. The way I teach is to bring statistics into the student’s world. I do this by showing how statistics are used in the real world. The end result of my classes has always been that the students leaving the class have an understanding of what statistics can do for them. They may not all go on to be PhDs in the field but each one of the will take a closer look at the data that crosses their work station each day.
