A Little Bit About Me...

In high school I took AP calculus classes, earning college credit and fulfilling the math requirement for my undergraduate degree. I tutored my peers in math while earning my BBA in finance, and taking elective classes in accounting and economics. I also worked for a tutoring service, helping high school students with math and SAT and ACT prep. I am currently a candidate in the Certified Financial Analyst program.
I love children and I am a patient and caring teacher. My mother is an educational diagnostician and an expert on learning disabilities and different learning styles. Methods utilized will vary upon the needs of the learner. The instructor must be flexible and adapt to the circumstances and needs of the child, teen or adult. Experiential learning is the best way for children to learn and retain the message. Therefore, creativity is important.
