I taught Business Statistics (Management 201) and Operations Management (Management 401). I also taught Operations Management for one semester in the MBA program at Fontbonne University in St. Louis MO. I have had training in the methodology of Six Sigma. Although not a Black Belt in Six Sigma, I have worked on many Six Sigma projects. These projects require an in depth knowledge of statistical methods. Experiential learning is the best way for children to learn and retain the message. Therefore, creativity is important. I use the scientific method of teaching. My style is Socratic. I believe, as Rene Descartes did before me, that human knowledge is innate, including our ability to learn and use language. I teach children to learn by given them the tools they need to think logically and abstractly. Life is dynamic, what happens today, will likely change tomorrow. I believe that children need to understand that there are consequences for their actions. The scientific method is a great way of learning cause and effect.
