I have been tutoring high school students for a couple years with excellent results. My method of learning to take the SATs is very unique and has led to me using this system to score in the top 0.5% of all test takers. Anyone can learn to excel on this important test but most people go about it the wrong way. I started teaching right out of college. Taught high school and college part time for 6 years. Left teaching for the computer business where I worked for 36 years. Retired from HP in 2001. Went back to teaching. I taught at Mount Royal Academy in Sunapee, NH for 7 years. I taught College Algebra and Pre-Calculus at River Valley Community College i Keene, presently as an Adjunct faculty member. Most Math books recommend teaching for about half the class and then let students work some problems in class. I find this works well, it allows questions and the class becomes interactive.
