Experience Summary
I earned two bachelors' degrees from Norwich University in 2011. I graduated with a BS in Sports Medicine Athletic Training and a BS in Sports Medicine Health Sciences with minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Physical Education Health. I excelled and enjoyed the information that was taught to me, particularly in the fields of chemistry and math. Although I have no formal tutoring or teaching experience in the typical classroom setting, I have done plenty of informal teaching. I helped classmates who were struggling in subjects that I understood such as Organic Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Calculus, Kinesiology, etc. I have also taught people of all ages in more physical activities such as skiing and gymnastics.
Teaching Style
I believe in teaching through examples. Everyone can learn the material if it is presented to them in a way that makes sense. The trick is finding that method. I believe that I am very good at determining a way to help individuals comprehend their desired material.
