My award for service learning integrated information from the fields of Education and Sociology to improve learning opportunities for abused children. A Little Bit About Me...

The professors who most impressed me were extremely challenging. One exceptional professor jumps out at me. Her passion for teaching was inarguable and her skill was remarkable. She was witty and smart. I remember sitting on the edge of my seat, clenched tight, simultaneously intrigued and terrified. She could tell stories that left us in stitches or scare us into studying for the entire weekend. I have come across few professors with so much excitement for teaching. I believe I bring excitement to my students. Developing relationships with students is imperative as well.
