Through studying adult learning styles, I discovered that studies show utilizing all facets of learning - writing, audio, visual, and hands on - leads to the highest levels of retention. The following year, I assisted in the laboratory sections of Anatomy and Physiology, teaching basic biology and advanced anatomy and physiology (A&P). I now serve as an instructor, teaching two sections of A&P. In addition, I have served as a student advisor, guiding incoming freshman and assisting them in schedule structure and course loads.
