Consequently, the first session will be spent in identifying your child’s unique style. Before tutoring begins, I like to sit down with the parents and student to identify educational goals. I am passionate about teaching and learning, and I love all people. I am an advocate of task-based learning, multiple intelligences, and the all-around inductive/constructivist approach to learning. I am a firm believer in the idea that all people have the same innate capacity to learn, but that this is manifested in different ways. I watched my brother struggle through school and learning disabilities all his life, so I tutored him through math and English since 7th grade.
