After graduating from college with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I taught a year of Sp. Ed.,at the elementary level. I returned to school and earned my M.A. in Psychology. I then taught elementary Sp. Ed. for two more years. Shortly after, I began homeschooling my own children. My oldest is now in high school and has been homeschooled the entire time. A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout high school and college, I've always excelled in my school work. I was president of the math club and often tutored my peers during my spare time. The University of Florida has provided me with a well rounded education, and I feel myself knowledgable in many areas, from languages like french, spanish and hindi, to the sciences like chemistry, biology, and physics. I'm also very familiar with writing term papers.
I like to teach by example and immersion. So much of what schools preach today is rote memorization, and to a certain degree, this cannot be avoided. But whenever possible, I like to try and find real world applications and demonstrations to get my lessons across to my pupil.
