Education has always been one of my greatest facinations. I achieved a BA in English grammars, a MLA in creative writing, and fifteen credits towards a PhD in literature and literary criticism. I discovered the writing center at my undergraduate university and became a tutor immediately. I found that I was in a position to learn just as much at the students I tutored. Over the past twelve years, I have continued that facination with learning in voluntary tutoring sessions.

As a bilingual Spanish and English speaker since birth I have always had an interest and inclination to the learning and teaching of languages. As a student at Fordham University, I pursued the Italian language. Afterward I spent a year in Spain teaching English to Spanish students which I found very rewarding and interesting. This past year I substituted for the foreign language teachers at New Canaan High School in Connecticut.
