I have extensive experience both locally and abroad teaching ESL. I taught in Korea for two years before working at a local ESL school. Within these two positions, I taught ages 5 through adult. Seven years ago, I became a certified teacher in Georgia and have been teaching ESOL in public schools since then. I have published about a dozen poems and one short story. Reading is one of my top subjects! Reading is one of my top subjects! I am very proficient in Reading and currently work at a county school on the middle grades level and have worked with elementary students for 5 years prior to moving to middle school where I teach a reading and decoding group Monday-Friday. I also have a certificate in Reading and Decoding as well as a Bachelors degree.

In college, I strived to do my very best. Like many others I had to write papers on different topics and grammar and comprehension plays a big part in writing a good paper. So, I took the opportunity while I was earning my degree, not to just get the degree, but to make sure I was doing the best I could so I could teach others what I had learned.
