I have taught mostly U.S. History in the middle schools but included in this was geography and the U.S. Constitution. I have also taught GED preparation to displaced workers in El Paso, TExas. I worked as a Summer swim instructor for children ages 3-12, at the New Mexico State University Aquatic Center. Instructors had the option of focusing on one learning level, or multiple. I had the opportunity to teach not only all the different age levels, but I also worked with the children participating in the summer camp NMSU provided to for kids ages pre-k through High School. I have been studying education since my high school graduation in hopes of one day being the choir director at my high school.At the moment I am a student at UTEP studying bilingual elementary education and plan to receive a masters in music education after receiving my bachelors degree.
