I have been studying education since my high school graduation in hopes of one day being the choir director at my high school.At the moment I am a student at UTEP studying bilingual elementary education and plan to receive a masters in music education after receiving my bachelors degree. I am currently a subsitute teacher and am hoping to continue helping students with their studies in the summer and weekends. In my schooland work experience I have worked with children of all grade levels and all subjects. I am firm but like to use students life experiences and hobbies to teach them subjects. Younger students I like to teach through play due to the fact that I am a firm believer that children learn through play.

As a 2009 graduate of the University of Texas at El Paso, holding a Bachelor of Arts, with a minor in English and American Literature, and with the teaching experience that I have gained in various fields since 2004, I feel that I am well-suited for this job.
