I have a bachelors degree with duel majors in both psychology and sociology. I was a TA for a semester my senior year of undergrad and assisted a lot of my peers through college with psychology and sociology courses especially related to theory and more concentrations topics. As a professional I work with the training department at work and really engage with individuals to learn and advance in their positions. A Little Bit About Me...

I have experience working with both audio/visual learners and a kinesthetic/tactile learner. The kinesthetic/tactile learner had learning disabilities akin to ADD, but still did very well in the small group environment. I believe that children who want to learn will do so given the proper setting and sufficient time to succeed. I have realized that the best test of whether you understand something is to be able to teach it successfully to another person. Though being prepared is not a direct part of the tutor-student interaction, it is absolutely necessary for the tutor to be prepared far beyond the basic level. As a substitute teacher, I try to engage the interest of all the students by greeting them by name initially as I welcome them to their classroom.
