I have a bachelors degree with duel majors in both psychology and sociology. I was a TA for a semester my senior year of undergrad and assisted a lot of my peers through college with psychology and sociology courses especially related to theory and more concentrations topics. As a professional I work with the training department at work and really engage with individuals to learn and advance in their positions. A Little Bit About Me...

I earned a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University in 1984. My subjects of passion were math and science and I enjoy working with children who struggle in those areas. I have home schooled my son through the end of 12th grade and he was ready for college freshman classes at age 15. Starting in his second grade year, we were joined by a student who has learning disabilities. He also thrived in the tutorial teaching environment. A Little Bit About Me...

For the past four years I have been working at The Children's ARK-A residential treatment facility for at-risk youth. I was a teaching assistant my first year and I have been teaching for the last three years all content areas and subjects for grades 5-8. As for my educational background, I am currently on a TTE (Temporary Teaching license)and I will have my SPED generalist permanent license in May. Also, I will have an added endorsement and a Master's degree this summer 2010. I have recently retired from the U.S. Army as a medic. During my service, I was frequently responsible for both formal and informal teaching and training.
