My comments on tutoring Grammar : I have tutored many subjects for over 10 years with exceptional success, especially grammar. I know virtually every rule of grammar. I learned the majority of it from teachers and professors, but the rest of it I learned from my training as an SAT and ACT instructor. As you know, both exams test students on virtually every grammar rule, ranging from the correct use of punctuation to vocabulary, subject-verb agreement to incorrectly using redundant language. I literally could go on and on, but the point is that I scored in the 99th Percentile on both the SAT & ACT, and along with well-written and grammatically-sound essays, was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Southern California. And it would be my honor to help other students attain their goals, but unfortunately if they involve college, they will need to score very well on the verbal sections of the SAT and ACT exams.

Been in the teacher preparation program at Nevada State College for about 3 years now, started off in Step-Up program my Junior year of high school, have done some field observation at many schools, and have had to deal with one on one tutoring during the time I was there along with many fellow class mates. In my classes at NSC we have different preparation classes that are preparing us for tasks such as tutoring and handling difficult tasks such as helping students that aren't of the English language to learn in their own way the different techniques that we use.
