Achieving a BA in history from TAMUCC has taught me to peer further into investigations of any sort. It has provided me with the tools that allow me to critically analyze situations and arguments. Being able to critically analyze different perspectives gives me the ability to discover different conclusions to arguments or problems. This degree has also honed in my reading and writing skills to that of a scholar's level. I attended college later in life. Recently, the opportunity arose to better myself. I chose Early Childhood Education and then continued on to obtain my Bachelor's Degree. Following this, I returned to school for Nursing. Eventually, we moved to Texas where I applied,tested and obtained my LCCA License. While in New York State, I was employed through the Alternative Suspension Program as an LVN. While there,I assisted with the teaching of students. This in turn gave me the opportunity to obtain my certification in Teaching. I remained in this position for two years. During this time, I had my own case load of 5-8 students grade 7-12.
