Experience Summary
I have taught for 29 years in the areas of Reading and Language Arts in grades 6th-7th- & 8th from 1985-2015 (currently). I have received much training in areas relating to Reading Approaches, Learning Styles, Vocabulay Strategies and Test Taking Skills. I have worked enormous amount of time during my teaching career as an After-School Tutor. I enjoy seeing students succeed after hard work through intervention tutorials. I believe all students can be successful through hard work and preserverance.
Teaching Style
I teach to whole group but my favorite is small group or individualized to assist students needs
My Hobbies
I enjoy spending time with family. But I enjoy exercising for a healrhier me.
Other Comments
During my career as a teacher, I am extremely honorable to say that I have assisted in the preparation roles of my students careers. Some the my students have become successful lawyers, teachers, fire fighters and police officers just to name a few. I have taught first and second generation families. Teaching has been a rewarding job in which has its profounding moments. Through this job, I have developed the passion to tutor struggling students who do successed through dedication, hard work and effort.
