Experience Summary
I have 20 years of successful teaching and tutoring experience. My experience is primarily with 2nd through 5th grade over the years. I have a background in Special Education and English as a Second Language as well at Gifted and Talented. My range of expereience is valuable for reaching all levels and needs of students. I have a great record of experience and evaluations which exceed expecatations as well.
Teaching Style
With my years of experience I have an ability to help students, meet their needs, and connect with them. I promote positive learning experiences and help build self-esteem in my students so they can take risks to rise to their potential. I set the expecatations high and students do rise to meet those expectations feeling successful and confident in themselves. I have teaching strategies that lead to success. I am confident I can help students knowing that what many of them need is someone to believe they can do the task and with that, believe in themselves.
