I'll Teach your Student to Teach Him or Herself

I have worked as a tutor for 10 years in all subjects, especially focusing on ESL learners. Recently, I have worked in an ESL school (FLS International) with university age students seeking to matriculate into American Universities. Before that, I worked in South Korea teaching English. While employed at these schools, I also work part-time as a tutor- mostly for middle and high school age students. Many of my students struggle with time management, and this is a main focus in my tutoring sessions.
I hate lecturing! I do! This is why my tutoring style is very interactive. I don't like talking AT a person, I prefer to have a conversation. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching can be a most wonderful adventure. I believe every child can learn. At times students or overwhelming with new concepts, and they need to be encouraged, and praise until they can accomplish the task at hand. I enjoy seeing the appearence of awareness on a childs face, when they have accomplished a goal, or solved a problem they had difficulty solving. I believe tutoring a child can be a powerful tool, and it can also unleash a potential genius.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a passion for "trainng" in my current profession and I have realized that there are many different styles of teaching. I am very passionate about teaching. I want to do it for the rest of my life so it is something that I enjoy. I love working with children and teenagers. I want to be an inspiration to my students. I want to motivate them to love learning and to find subjects that interest them.
