At the outset of the personal computer revolution I sold and supported Tandy computers. As part of the support function I instructed clients in the use of their computers. A whole new world blossomed for me. Teaching clients to use their computers turned out to be a long term and very rewarding experience. During my thirteen years as The Computer Tutor I encountered a multitude of student learning difficulties. I enjoy sharing knowledge of science with people of all ages. Many people find science to be intimidating, but I believe that once a person gets past the vocabulary barrier, the concepts of science are less overwhelming. One of my strengths is distilling scientific knowledge from the incomprehensible to concepts that anyone can understand.
