My teaching experience has been diverse. I have taught fifth grade through college level, and I have taught in different areas of English: grammar, writing, literature, speech, reading,etc. I have tutored elementary students in reading and writing. I currently teach composition at the community college level to mainly non-traditional students.

At the outset of the personal computer revolution I sold and supported Tandy computers. As part of the support function I instructed clients in the use of their computers. A whole new world blossomed for me. Teaching clients to use their computers turned out to be a long term and very rewarding experience. During my thirteen years as The Computer Tutor I encountered a multitude of student learning difficulties. After graduation I applied and got a teaching job and I taught at Skyview Middle School in District 49 for 4 years teaching Ancient Civilizations.
