My teaching style varies upon subject and student. I graduated from Jefferson High School in the spring of 2012. I now attend Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne. I have two younger siblings and 4 younger step-siblings that I have helped with their homework, or helped them better understand material assigned to them. Their ages range from 8-17. I know how to explain certain subjects in multiple ways to ensure that eventually the student will understand the material. I am very patient, and I understand that some people learn at slower rates than others. I am majoring in nursing, though I considered teaching English before making this decision. I love teaching, and am looking to make some extra money for things I need while in college.

As a six-year English teacher, I used to begin each of my classes with a grammar exercise in order to remind students of the grammar rules and also to keep them proficient in the correct ways of speaking and writing formal English. I am a very hands-on learner, so I tend to try to make things as hands on or as real to life as possible. Since graduating from Baptist Bible College in 2006, I have been teaching high school English in Indiana for six years now. Patience, consideration, and encouraging words are simple tasks to help the self esteem of children in a child's education. With a degree from Purdue University and continuing on to get a degree in engineering, I am engaged in many areas of science and math. Even at a young age I taught my younger sister basic mathematical and reading skills even before she entered kindergarten; we called it "school".
