A Little Bit About Me...

I feel that each student has their own individual style of learning and I will take that into consideration when tutoring your son/daughter. I know that not everyone learns the same way and that there is not a concrete form of teaching and that to be able to reach an individual student, the teacher must accomodate their teaching style to reach the student.
I taught Environmental Science to disadvantaged kids in McKenzie, TN while on summer break from college and then I taught young children about animals and their lifesytles at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. I am currently working on a master's degree in secondary science. I suffered from a learning disability when I was a high school student, so I understanding students when they just aren't able to quite understand and know that it's okay to seek help.

A Little Bit About Me...

For the past four years I have been working at The Children's ARK-A residential treatment facility for at-risk youth. I was a teaching assistant my first year and I have been teaching for the last three years all content areas and subjects for grades 5-8. As for my educational background, I am currently on a TTE (Temporary Teaching license)and I will have my SPED generalist permanent license in May. Also, I will have an added endorsement and a Master's degree this summer 2010. I currently hold a B.A. in Psychology and that degree has proved to be very helpful with working with children with emotional issues.

When I was in high school ,I had a passion for physics.I realized that I should know more about the subject,so I took my bachelor degree in physics .Along with physics I studied electronics and mathematics.I really believe that I enjoyed each and every moment of my science lessons and because of that I was honored as the First Rank holder in my university.While doing my masters degree in the same university ,my professors gave me opportunity to know my physics better by asking me to take classes for the undergraduate kids.That was really an honor to me.
