How do I summarize teaching in my life? I guess the best way to explain my teaching experience is to tell you a story. As a young girl I wanted to be a teacher. Because of my love of learning I taught all my siblings how to read. I know it is pretty funny but it is a true story. That led to my doing teaching seminars, which led to consulting, which led to training, which led to my working with individuals as a life coach. I earned a BS in Aeronautics and have completed some graduate work in aerodynamics and meteorology. In addition to having given approximately 3000 hours of instruction in aviation subjects, I have authored several textbooks on aircraft design and construction. For example, if we are learning Le Chartelier's Princlple, which concerns the response of a chemical reaction to stress, I have my students discuss the types of stress they experience, and their responses. We compare this to the beautifully precise and appropriate reaction in Chemistry, where the response is never inapproriate, insufficent or in excess.
