My comments on tutoring Algebra I : Retired secondary classroom teacher after 32 years in public education. I taught Algebra I for 10 years. Currently teaching at several SAT/ACT College Prep Businesses in Plano, Frisco, Argyle,and Denton.

I structure lessons with one-on-one instruction, interactive and independent practice, and opportunities for extended learning through applications.
I am a retired classroom teacher after 35 years of teaching experience in public education. I currently teach at UNT and NCTC. I am convinced that for students to succeed in their education and in life they must have a firm foundation in reading and writing. My degree in Engineering has given me plenty of experience in math and science. I have also had graduate courses in Physics and Engineering. As a graduate student at UNT, I instructed several physics and astronomy labs and learned first hand what teaching can be like. I have since felt that teaching math and science is a career I want to pursue.
I have always had a passion for learning, and helping others learn. In middle school, High School and College, other students came to me for help with assignments.
