A Little Bit About Me...

I like to teach any level of students, I had in my studio, helped kid's with their school repertoire requirements, as well with their personal school musical projects. As well I had the opportunity to attend many of my students school's, and help with their orchestras, meet their teachers, and create amazing musical experiences. I try to make my lesson's, fun and exiting, as well to develop the artistic creativity of every student.
I graduated from syracuse university in violin performance. I been playing with symphony orchestras in the upstate area, such as Syracuse Symphony, Binghamton Philharmonic, Utica Symphony, Tri-cities Opera. A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and helping children to succeed. I believe that it is important for children to develop a life long love of learning. This should be accomplished through a safe and supportive environment and facilitated by a child-centered curriculum. I also believe students learn best when they can relate to what they are learning, as well as being immersed in it. This is best accomplished through integrated learning. I believe that a teacher is both a facilitator of learning as well as a positive role model. All children need the opportunity to explore themselves and figure out what they are good at and what they like, and I will be there to guide the children.

I have always wanted students to really know the material being covered. This has meant keeping their interest through jovial yet concentrated lesson planning. I have always strived to make my students feel comfortable and to take on the responsibility for their own learning. Much too often Educators show students how to answer questions rather than helping the student learn how to handle new scenarios. This is the essence of my teaching: helping students see the big picture so that they can handle any new scenario. My classroom always has many things going on at once, which is a direct result of the student driven learning and presenting.
