I was a substitute teacher for Wappingers Central School district from April 2013 to June 2014. I taught grades 6 - 12 for a variety of subjects including, but not limited to Social Studies, Spanish, English, Music, and Special Education. One particular position I held was that I was a substitute Spanish teacher at Van Wyck Jr. High School teaching grades 7 - 8 from February to March 2014. As a musician, before moving to the area, I was on the Executive Board of American Federation of Musicians Local 238 - 291. I have been playing French horn for 16 years and guitar for 13 years.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from syracuse university in violin performance. I been playing with symphony orchestras in the upstate area, such as Syracuse Symphony, Binghamton Philharmonic, Utica Symphony, Tri-cities Opera. As well I been performing in NY city ,with musicians from many nationalities, that is giving me the opportunity to practice my language skill's in spanish, english and french. I have as well a private studio in my home, where I had the opportunity to work with many students from the area.
I like to teach any level of students, I had in my studio, helped kid's with their school repertoire requirements, as well with their personal school musical projects. I received my Bachelor's degree in 1989 and worked as an assistant engineer in Binghamton NY until I started my masters program at SUNY Cortland. I have held Physics, Earth science, Chemistry and Biology appointments in the years that followed in a variety of School districts throughout the state. I have spent five years tutoring and 17 teaching, including 12 years of summer school. The best thing about teaching and tutoring science is that it easily transfers to all of the other disciplines.
