A Little Bit About Me...

Graduated from the UofA after completing the Veterinary Science degree and a minor in Chemistry. I went on to work with exotic animals for a few years and then started teaching Anatomy & Physiology in a for-profit college institution. I taught a variety of Allied Health and other science courses which included the following, Medical Terminology, Microbiology, Human Diseases, Anatomy and Physiology I & II, Dosage Calculations Medical Math. I have experience creating an on-line classroom and building the lesson plan, assignments, etc. as well.
I have a lot of good resources on powerpoint, online, lecture materials, etc. I also have experience teaching in an on-line environment, or virtual classroom. I have ways to make the complicated materials seem much easier to understand and I can explain how to summarize the important info from a tough concept.

Many people could easily get good grades without applying studying or being in class. A Little Bit About Me...

My approach to teaching is that all children can learn given opportunities in a "safe" environment. I taught many students with learning challenges and I had to individualize their program. I used multiple intelligences to help students learn using their strengths to help them with their weaknesses. It made learning more fun and easier for them to grasp.
I graduated with a BA in French and Elementary Education and taught for 4 years in multi-age classrooms. Then I tutored while I stayed home with my children. I resumed teaching 1995 and earned an MAT in Elementary Education in 1998. My experience continued in multi-age classrooms where I taught reading, math, English, handwriting, science, social studies, P.E., art, and music for grades 1-6. My Experience: In 1964, I graduated from Columbia College, in Geology. Subsequently, I worked in oil well drilling in Israel, and on a dam project in New Jersey. After earning an MA in Art Education, at Brooklyn College in 1975, I helped found the Waltham Mass. Artists Association, where I created beautiful enamels, and mentored several child students.
